The Extra Mile Virtual 5K is a fundraising event that brings together families, friends, businesses, schools and community organizations to honor and celebrate individuals with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries at Annandale Village.

This year's race might look a little different than previous years, but it's still an amazing opportunity to participate virtually with us and support the extraordinary individuals who call Annandale Village home. As one of only three organizations in the entire United States that offers a full continuum of service and care, Annandale is a unique place where adults with special needs can reach their highest levels of independence. 

When you join us for this fun and exciting virtual event, you are helping raise awareness for the 192 men and women we serve. And, if you join us in fundraising or donating, you will also allow us to continue to provide specialized support while fostering independence for the extraordinary adults we serve and love. 

So, whether you run, walk, swim, bike or participate in some other activity, every mile you complete will help increase awareness and bring hope to so many. No matter where you start your virtual 5K, no matter how you choose to move, we'll all go the extra mile - together!
