KPeasey is Headed Back to Kona in 2024!
During the 40th Anniversary of the IRONMAN World Championship on Oct. 13, 2018, Kyle and Brent Pease made history by being the first push-assisted team of brothers to cross the finish line, and the second duo to complete the race. With a time of 14 hours and 29 minutes, Kyle and Brent fulfilled their lifelong dream of competing in the world-renowned event, breaking a personal record on the course and redefining to the IRONMAN community and the world, what it truly means to be inclusive through sports.
Going up against 2,400 of the world’s toughest athletes, Kyle and Brent finished the 2.4-mile swim in 1:07:33, 112-mile bike ride in 8:22:03, and 26.2 mile run in 4:45:54. Prevailing against the race’s infamous weather conditions, the brothers were able to best their previous race time by 35 minutes on the sport’s most challenging course.
We're excited and proud to announce our return to the big island, with an even bigger goal in mind. Our journey back to Kona has one main goal in mind, to continue the growth and longevity of creating and supporting inclusive work opportunities long after we cross the finish line. In 2024, our goal is to raise $1,000,000 to fuel and grow The KPF Inclusive Employment program. With these funds, our plan is to hire a minimum of two more individuals with disabilities (with the opportunity of more hires) to grow the current program. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, most people with disabilities are restricted in the amount of assets they can have. This is due to the current government support that the majority of people with disabilities receive. There are legal vehicles available to them and through this campaign, we will create legal, employer-based contributions to these savings vehicles they have available. This fund will support our vision for creating sustainability for our employees for a period of three years, with the goal of continuing the growth of this. Together, with the support of three board members, we look forward to continuing to help push beyond limits.

Inclusive Employment Program
The Kyle Pease Foundation Inclusive Employment Program was established in 2017 when our first inclusive employee, Justin Knight, approached KPF after he raced with us. He never asked us for a grant but for an opportunity to join the front office team and help give back to his community, inspired by our founder, Kyle Pease.
Currently, The Kyle Pease Foundation employs five (5) Inclusive Employees who play a key role in our day-to-day operations at KPF. These are individuals who have a disability and through KPF, have a strong skill set that contributes to the growth, success, and ongoing support of our KPF Athletes and their families.
