Set in our hometown of Atlanta, GA, the Publix Atlanta Marathon and Half Marathon is more than a race. It is a powerful celebration of community, perseverance, and inclusion. Each year, thousands of athletes, families, volunteers, and supporters come together to create an atmosphere where everyone belongs at the starting line.
From elite runners to wheelchair athletes to everyday runners and walkers, this event welcomes participants of all abilities and backgrounds. The spirit of Atlanta shines through in every mile, fueled by a community that believes in showing up for one another.
With more than 17,000 registered participants in its inaugural year, the event quickly became one of the largest first-year marathon and half marathon combinations in history. Each year since, it has continued to grow in energy, community spirit, and impact, earning its place as a True Southern Tradition.

The 2027 Publix Atlanta Half Marathon is a fundraising event with a commitment to fundraising. Please click below to see the fundraising minimums for each category and what’s included in the fundraising minimums:

A custom Publix Atlanta Half Marathon race weekend-themed, KPF Race Team shirt
A KPF-themed gift (to be announced at a later date)
One (1) ticket for the pre-race dinner on Saturday, March 6th, 2027 (If you are bringing a plus one, you will need to purchase an additional ticket)
KPF will pair you with 2 other individual runners to create your team on race day
