Oct 2-4
Camp Twin Lakes
Winder, GA

Please note: Our regular Camp Wheel-A-Way will still take place every year in the Spring for campers age 6-30

We are excited to partner again with Camp Twin Lakes to provide Camp Wheel-A-Way KIDS!

For over 25 years, Camp Twin Lakes (located in Winder, GA) has delivered fully adaptive, medically supportive, and deeply impactful camp experiences to more than 10,000 of Georgia’s children and young adults, helping each camper grow in their confidence and experience the joys of childhood.

Through intentional play, they develop mindful and confident children and adults who are prepared to triumph over challenges. By learning perseverance, resilience, and a sense of community, our campers leave transformed and capable of extraordinary things.

Camp Experience for YOUTH Age 6 -18

Camp Twin Lakes and The Kyle Pease Foundation are excited to introduce the first-ever Camp Wheel-A-Way Kids—a special camp experience designed just for young campers (age 6 - 18) of all abilities!

This unique adaptive camp gives kids the chance to step away from their everyday routine and jump into a weekend full of adventure, friendship, and fun. Campers will enjoy exciting activities designed so everyone can participate, build confidence, and make new friends.

Join us in a safe, welcoming environment where kids can explore, laugh, and create unforgettable memories with their camp family.

Camp Wheel-A-Way is for children and teens ages 6 to 18 with physical disabilities. Camp Wheel-A-Way will have clinical staff available 24 hours a day. Our volunteers will consist of community volunteers, nurses, and other staff who are committed to making camp a special weekend for your camper!

  • Campers must be between 6-18 years old.

  • Campers must have no aggressive or threatening behaviors to other individuals at camp.

  • Campers must be in good health and show no signs of communicable disease.

**Please note: As the safety of your camper and camp staff is our primary priority, decisions & acceptance to camp will be made by a committee on a case-by-case basis.
