School and Community Inclusion Program
Inspiring the Next Generation to Lead with Inclusion
The Kyle Pease Foundation partners with schools and youth organizations to help students discover the power of inclusion through inspiring stories, hands-on experiences, and meaningful opportunities to serve.
Whether your school or club participates in one program or all three, students will learn that everyone belongs - and everyone has something valuable to contribute.
LEVEL 1 – INSPIRE → Learn why inclusion matters.
The Inclusion Challenge : A dynamic school / Community assembly
Students will:
Meet staff and athletes from The Kyle Pease Foundation.
Hear the inspiring story of brothers Brent and Kyle Pease and the journey that started it all.
Learn how inclusion changes lives.
Be challenged to make inclusion part of everyday life.
Ideal for: School assemblies, leadership programs, PE classes, student councils, youth groups, and faith-based organizations.
LEVEL 2 – EXPERIENCE → Discover what inclusion feels like.
Inclusive Athlete Experience : A hands-on adaptive sports experience
Students will:
Meet adaptive athletes.
Explore adaptive racing equipment.
Learn how to safely support and guide an athlete.
Experience teamwork, communication, and trust through interactive activities.
Build confidence and empathy through shared experiences.
Students don't just learn about inclusion—they practice it.
Ideal for: Best Buddies, service clubs, school and community running clubs, YMCA programs, and other student organizations.
LEVEL 3 – TAKE ACTION → Become part of the movement.
Become a Kyle Pease Kid: Teammate / Changemaker
Inclusion doesn't end when the presentation is over. This is where students become part of the Kyle Pease Foundation community by choosing how they want to make a difference.
Students can:
Become a Teammate
Race alongside an athlete with a disability through Kyle Pease Kids. Build meaningful friendships while helping athletes experience the joy of crossing the finish line.
Become a Changemaker
Create a fundraiser at your school or in your community to help provide adaptive equipment, race experiences, and year-round opportunities for athletes with disabilities.
Ideas include:
School spirit days
Fun runs or color runs
Birthday or holiday fundraisers
Sports team giving challenges
Community fundraising events
Become a Volunteer (non-running role)
Support The Kyle Pease Foundation events throughout the year by welcoming participants, assisting at races, cheering on athletes, helping with family events, and serving behind the scenes.
Any of these unforgettable experiences builds:
Leadership
Confidence
Service
Friendship
Community
