After a blockbuster Publix Atlanta Half Marathon with the Atlanta Track Club in March, one would think things have will slow down.  Not so for the KPeasey Nation.

On April 12th, our 5thAnnual Camp Wheel-A-Way kicked off with 18 excited campers at Camp Twin Lakes in Winder, GA.  Thanks to our numerous volunteers, all campers enjoyed riding bikes, flying down zip lines and scaling climbing walls. Even though the weather turned bleak on Sunday, activities were moved inside and spirits were not dampened.  All 18 campers enjoyed days filled with joy and laughter and making memories with other KPF friends.

“It’s a wonderful distraction from every day ups and downs for adults and children living with special needs.” ~ Ricardo, Camp Wheel-A-Way Camper

For the 3rd year, The Kyle Pease Foundation partnered with Pace Academy for the Pace Race 5K.  The race is a 5K looping around the school’s campus and West Paces Ferry Drive in Atlanta. 14 Walking with KPeasey athletes were assisted by almost 40 volunteers to participate in this family friendly 5K in the heart of Buckhead.

KPeasey wrapped up April with the Lovett 5K on Saturday, April 27th.  This is KPeasey’s first year to partner with Lovett and had 9 KPeasey teams racing for inclusion.

While we would love to stop and smell the flowers in May, Walking with KPeasey will only be getting hotter with races, speaking engagements and the launch of Brent and Kyle’s new book.  Make sure you are connected with us on social media and go to www.kylepeasefoundation.orgto sign up for our monthly newsletters.
