Driving the new one...

So, I got a new chair a few weeks ago and we are still in the process of getting just right for me. Anyway, this past weekend I got to go to Prattville, AL. to visit a buddy hometown and his awesome family. The highlight of the trip besides seeing the sights and sounds was his 3 and a half year old son climbing in my lap and driving my wheelchair on his own in the street. This kid is fearless and he's the coolest little guy that I've meant in sometime. I'm so blessed to have this family and the aide that went with me in my life.

To my unbelievable staff and support team, THANK YOU!! Words can't even begin my gratitude for each and everyone of you. Much love and appreciation.

Happy holidays to everyone!

Back on the Blog Train

I apologize for not being on the blog in a couple weeks. It's been quite a few weeks since I've last posted. From Bowling with KPeasey to meeting Matt Ryan, it has been quite an amazing experience. Matt was an awesome dude! And the Falcons WILL do better this week! I am pleased to announce that I will be getting a brand new wheel chair in the new week and a half. It will be so sweet! Please check out www.kylepease.org - there will be a video from the bowling event posted shortly! I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving. I am thankful for each of you that have supported me throughout my life. It means the world to me! All my best -

Bowling with K Peasey

excuse me for not posting in quite a while... it's been a bit busy in the land of K Peasey! we just had our first event, Bowling with K Peasey, which took place sunday, oct 18 at fun time bowling in atlanta. it was quite a fun night! after a lot of hard work and planning, it definitely more than paid off. the proceeds from the event went to Reaching for the Stars, a foundation that supports cerebral palsy research. we raised over $2,100 for Reaching for the Stars! for my first event, i am very proud of myself. we have learned from a few mistakes and will improve in these areas. t-shirts and K Peasey bracelets were passed out at the event also, and we had over 75 people come out to bowl! i would like to thank the entire K Peasey staff for their efforts in making this a success.

it is football season now, so i am glued to the falcons. so far, so good.

please check out www.kylepease.org soon for event photos and video!

Beginning sometime next week I will introduce you to some of my staff behind K Peasey. I will begin with Sam. And by the way, Happy Birthday big guy.
My other budday, and yes I do have other friends besides Sam, Amy, and Kate...

Happenings

A lot is going on in the world of K Peasey. I am currently working on a lot of projects, always seeking new opportunities to grow as an individual. The team of K Peasey has worked extremely hard to put a Bowling Fundraiser together, more details to come later. I am trying to make a conscious effort to blog more to let you know what is going on with me in the community. Career Sports, Publix, and the website are going well. If you haven't looked at my website yet, I encourage each and everyone of you to do so (www.kylepease.org). My staff, which I manage to take care of me, is my 4th job. It has been incredible to know that I can rely on these six people to take care of me through the good times and the bad. Thank you. In my support staff, which includes my parents, my friends, and other supporters have been there every step and "wheel" of the way. So as I conclude this blog, I ask each and everyone of you to look inside your heart and take a minute to look at the person next to you and tell them how much you love them. Until next time, take care of yourself and each other.

Kyle
