I'm Truly Honered and Humbled

Well, it's official I am twenty five. I am so grateful my brother came in town to share this special occasion with me. It was his birthday too. Happy birthday big guy.
We started off at a restaurant with about twenty people. One of my aides gave me a gift of a lifetime.
A tattoo on his foot that says walking for KP. I think there was not a dry eye in the restaurant. I am truly truly honored that I will be a part of him and my entire staff for the rest of my life. I am truly grateful and to John David you are the man.
I really don't know what to say. I'm really at a loss for words right now. But it was truly one of the best days of my life. Thanks again to everyone who made it such a great day. Keep on walking for KP.

working out

The other day Amy and I headed to the gym to work out for the time! It went great! I tested the waters with the machines they set for my program to see what I could do. I'm looking forward to going again tomorrow and seeing how my reacts.

Keep on keepin' on!

My birthday is 8 days away! We will be in Buckhead having a good time! And we have a hotel for the night! Evan is coming in town as well; it should be a blast.

I'm a lean mean fighting machine.

Team KPeasey has put a comprehensive plan together to allow me to get some physical exercise in. I joined a gym! Yes, that's right, I joined a gym. I have joined the Shepherd Adapted Fitness Center. It is truly amazing, the equipment that they have. I plan on going 3 times week to work out my upper and lower body. My staff assists me with reaching the goals that we have made. So I will keep you updated on my progress. I am so pumped about this! My and Evan's birthday is coming up next Friday. Yes, I'll be 25 and I have gray hair already. Please take a look at kylepease.org, as we have updated it with new pictures and videos.

really, Marta??

this afternoon i went to have lunch with my buddy, ben, who works at the Equitable building in downtown ATL. so i take the train to right around the corner from where he works. i arrived there at 1:20 for a 1:30 lunch and come to find out that the elevators are broken to get up to the street level. i asked a gentleman who is a contractor for Marta to assist me, and he attempted to fix the elevators - but to no avail. finally, he says "can you go on the escalator?"... i said "excuse me, sir? there is no way that you can get 4 guys to life my wheelchair up an escalator." so finally after about a 25 minute wait, the elevator was fixed and i was able to enjoy lunch. really, Marta? there was no staff in sight to assist me in one of the busiest stations they operate.... i was a little frustrated to say the least, but i just kept wheelin'!!

hugs and hand pounds!

I Have A Dream

Hello Blogger Nation,

I have a dream, that one day, I will be able to put on foot in front of the other. I have a dream, that I will one day find my own pursuit of happiness, and by the way, its just around the corner. On the eve of Dr. King's birthday we need to be mindful and grateful, about how precious this life is, and how we need to treat everybody with dignity and respect. I take you back to Dr. King, who was a man of peace that served our country and the world as a man who practiced what he preached. I ask each and every one of you to challenge yourself to see how we can better your world and your community. If Dr. King lived today, what would he say about today's society? Again, I just ask that you look at the person to your right, and let you know that you appreciate them and that you love them. I Have A Dream
