In addition to providing support for all In-Chair Athletes, this event also supports Kyle Pease Kids teams. If you are not familiar with The Kyle Pease Kids Program, you can read more about it here: https://kylepeasefoundation.org/kyle-pease-kids.

The program pairs In-Chair Athletes under the age of 21 with Teammates aged 10-18 to complete the entire race distance on their own. Parents/Teammates over the age of 21 do have the opportunity to run alongside a Kyle Pease Kids team as a chaperone, however they are not anticipated to assist in pushing.

As an Athlete under 21, if you are not comfortable being assisted by Teammates aged 10-18, please do not indicate interest in this program.

As a Parent of Teammates aged 10-18, if you are not comfortable with your child pushing another young athlete, please do not indicate interest in this program.

For Kyle Pease Kids Program questions, please contact gillian@kylepeasefoundation.org.

About the race:

Play… it’s for everyone. For families and children with disabilities, finding ways to include children in everyday play can be a challenge. With adapted toys, computer equipment, and educational materials, Lekotek helps all children learn through play. Each day, Lekotek of Georgia (a nonprofit organization) helps children with disabilities succeed. Join the race and support kids with disabilities. You don’t have to be an athlete to participate, just a person who wants to make a difference. For additional information visit https://www.lekotekga.org.

About the Mayor’s Corporate Challenge (MCC)

The Mayor’s Corporate Challenge is our signature fundraiser—and one of Alpharetta’s most impactful events. Since 2014, MCC has raised over $700,000 for more than 100 local and international causes, including North Fulton Community Charities, The Drake House, Foster Care Georgia, YMCA, and global initiatives like polio eradication and clean water access.

Why We Run

We run for our neighbors. We run for our city. We run for those who can’t.

Join us on September 17, 2026 for the MCC 5K. Rally your company, sponsor the event, and help us support families, fuel local nonprofits, and create lasting change—right here in Alpharetta and around the world.
